It’s no secret that the past few years have put a strain on people’s pockets across the world. Nearly all “everyday” expenses have increased from groceries to insurance premiums. With little end in sight, many people are gearing up to start budgeting in 2025. Don’t get it twisted though; budgeting is a great thing… let me tell you why.

When the word ‘budget’ comes out of someone’s mouth we have this instinctual reaction to flinch, grimace, and maybe even throw up?? Here’s the thing, a budget doesn’t mean you have to be restrictive, it means you are creating a plan for your money. Money can be cruel and if you stop paying attention to it, it will find a way to disappear. More and more people are realizing the importance of a “money-plan” and are setting their 2025 goals to become better at tracking their money.

How Can I Track My Money Better?

I’m glad you asked! Recently I created a budgeting spreadsheet through Google Sheets that allows you to keep track of all your monthly income, expenses, savings, and debt. In a straightforward way, this spreadsheet allows you to follow your money and better allocate it to the things you WANT in your life.
