Improving Your life, One App at a Time
I’ve said it many times, but we can’t live without our phones in the modern world. For better or worse, these technological devices are attached to us all day every day. Until this changes, you might as well use your phone to the best of its ability. Today’s newsletter is going to discuss 5 helpful apps that will improve your cellphone experience. Enjoy!
The Five Most Important Phone Apps You Need in Your Life
Pass2u
Many aspects of our lives are moving to a digital universe. Payments, flights, and event tickets are some of the most common digitized products. Unfortunately, not every card is easily transferable to the digital world. Health insurance cards, gym memberships, and several other physical cards don’t easily link up to an Apple or Google Wallet. With Pass2u, you are able to scan any physical card and upload it to your phone’s wallet. It works for cards, coupons, and tickets. Give it a try!
Grammarly
Grammarly has been around for a while but mostly for desktop computers. Now they have a phone app that will recommend grammatical changes to your texts, emails, or posts. Grammarly will help with spelling mistakes, punctuation problems, and even suggest more professional ways to write.
Duolingo
Duolingo is a fantastic app to help learn a new language. Their phone app is well designed gamifying the language learning process. Although it’s unlikely you’ll become fluent in a new language by using the app, it's a great way to practice or learn simple phrases.
AllTrails
AllTrails is a fitness/traveling app that will find, rate, describe, and give an overview of trails near you. Information like trail length, elevation gain, ratings, photos, and user experiences will populate when choosing a specific trail. There are a handful of other features the app offers so if you enjoy spending time outdoors, this is a must have app for you.
Life Sum
LifeSum is a health and dietary food tracker app. The app allows you input food you’ve eaten to count up daily calories and important macronutrient information. You are able to make recipes within the app and scan barcodes which avoids the need to input caloric information for every food. If you’re trying to lose weight, gain muscle, or figure out what nutrients you are deficient in, this app is for you.
